Drew Chalfant Update

Last week Drew Chalfant, bass guitar player for Black Tie Affair, a Cincinnati based band injured his neck diving into a swimming pool. He was taken to University Hospital where he was diagnosed with three broken bones in his neck. He sustained no paralysis and is walking, talking, and functioning as well as can be expected. After being seen by a neck specialist he was placed in a Halo neck brace. He will remain in it for at least 8 weeks. He is now resting comfortably at home.

Black Tie Affair have canceled several upcoming shows due to the accident, but Drew said he did plan to play the CD release show at the Mad Hatter in Covington, Ky on September 7th if at all possible.
